What this is

RuneScape: Dragonwilds Guide is an independent, unofficial reference. It covers release timing and platform availability, the numbers the storefronts publish, and the places where sources disagree — each figure carrying the date it was read.

It is not affiliated with Jagex. RuneScape: Dragonwilds is developed and published by Jagex Ltd. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or licensed by Jagex Ltd, and it uses no game artwork, logo or screenshot. Game names, marks and imagery belong to their respective owners. Where the site needs a visual, it draws an original diagram rather than embedding someone else's asset.

Why this site exists when the official wiki already does

The official wiki is excellent, and the honest position is that it already owns the "runescape dragonwilds wiki" query — it holds 3,590 articles, 5,802 files and 68,650 edits from 123 active editors, and some of its individual pages run past 200,000 characters. This site does not compete with that and does not try to become a second copy of it. Four things are structurally hard for an encyclopedia to do, and those four are what this site does instead:

  1. Reconciliation. Where two published sources give different values for the same fact, an encyclopedia has to pick one. This site prints both, with the source behind each value and the day it was read. The Early Access start date on the release date page is the worked example: two published values four days apart, both printed, neither chosen.
  2. Ledgers. Platform and edition facts are scattered across four different storefronts, each with its own vocabulary. This site puts them in one table, with the store named per row, instead of describing them in prose.
  3. Missable flags. Some things cannot be recovered if you miss them. Those get marked, not buried in a walkthrough.
  4. Evidence grading. Every claim is labelled by where it came from — first-party, store, reference or community — so you can see at a glance whether a sentence is Jagex's wording, a storefront's label, or a player's account.

How a fact gets onto this site

  • Nothing is estimated. If a source does not state a value, the page says "not listed" rather than filling the cell in. If two sources conflict and neither is authoritative enough to win, both values are printed and the conflict is left open on the page.
  • Everything carries a date. Every price, count, rating and storefront label on this site was read on 2026-09-17, and figures that move — Steam review counts, rating totals — carry that timestamp wherever they appear.
  • Sources are graded, not blended. A community post is never mixed in with an official statement in the same sentence. Where a claim rests only on community reporting, the page says so and links the original post with its age.
  • A community source never carries a "confirmed" label. Player accounts are useful and are printed as player accounts. They are not used to support a conclusion that a first-party source would have to support.
  • Nothing about the game is invented. No damage numbers, no crafting quantities beyond what a cited table states, no release dates, no platform-support claims, no licensing relationships.

Corrections

If a page here is wrong, the fix is to change the page, not to argue about it. A monitored corrections inbox is not yet in place at the time of this check, and this page will not pretend otherwise by printing an address that nobody reads — the contact page states the same thing in the same words. Until it exists, treat any statement on this site as correctable on the evidence: the claim, its source and the date it was read are all printed, so a challenge can be made against the specific source rather than against the page as a whole. When an inbox goes live, the link will be added to the footer of every page, and this paragraph will be replaced.

What this site does not do

  • It does not build a second wiki. No item-by-item, monster-by-monster or recipe-by-recipe database.
  • It does not host a self-made interactive map. Three independent map projects already cover that ground far better than a text site can.
  • It does not mirror patch notes. Jagex's own site and the official wiki will always be faster than a mirror.
  • It does not print an aggregate review score, because no post-1.0 aggregate existed at the time of this check and inventing one would be the least useful thing on the site.
  • It does not sell anything, run advertising as of this check, or require an account.
  • It does not provide a 100% completion route for achievements, because parts of the achievement list are documented as unrecoverable or as not retroactively applied.

Scope of this batch

This batch publishes the whole confirmed route set: fourteen reference pages — the homepage, release date, platforms and editions, crossplay, Game Pass, review roundup, single-player, beginner guide, how to make a bow, map and regions, armour and equipment, achievements, dedicated servers and the Discord quest — plus the trust pages (about, privacy policy, contact, terms and disclaimer) and the machine-readable files (llms.txt, sitemap.xml, robots.txt). Every route listed is written; nothing here points at an unwritten page.
