The short answer
There are 50 Steam achievements, also called tasks. Each is a standalone milestone completed through an in-game action — mining an ore, cooking a food item, defeating a named boss, reaching level 99 in a skill. Steam and the official wiki agree on the number, and the wiki also publishes a global completion rate for every one of them.
Completion rates move, and the wiki says how often it refreshes them: the rate is fetched and published at 12-hour intervals starting at 00:00 UTC. Every percentage below is therefore a reading with a time on it rather than a constant, and the table is dated below.
All 50 achievements, with their completion rates
Read from the official wiki's achievement log on 2026-09-17. The "Added" column is filled only where the wiki's own update history names the group; the source table carries no per-row version column, so 49 of the 50 rows are left blank rather than guessed — see the update-history table below.

| Amazingly Acrobatic | Reach level 99 in Agility | 0.2% | 0.12.1 (14 July 2026) — the wiki records "Agility achievements were added to the game" |
Three things about that table are worth pointing out, because the raw percentages are easy to misread.
- The top of the list is not a tutorial. The most-completed achievement is
Swift Pickfor mining an ore at 29.4%, which means roughly seven players in ten have not mined an ore. Nothing in the list is held by a majority of players. - The bottom is a long tail. Twenty-one of the fifty sit below 1%, and the rarest is
Maximum Effishiencyfor reaching level 99 in Fishing at 0.1%. Every level-99 achievement is under 1%, so the max-level grind is where almost the entire player base stops. - Two of the rarest are not grinds.
Medal Collector— a gold medal on every course — is at 0.2%, andFrenziedis at 0.3%. Those are completion and timing challenges rather than level grinds, and they are rarer than most of the level-99 rows.
How the count changed — 53, then 50, then 45, then back up
The single most confusing thing about this list is that other sources give other totals. The official wiki explains the whole history in its own trivia section, and the figures below are its statements, not a reconstruction:
| Figure | What the wiki says about it |
|---|---|
| 53 | "There was at some point meant to be 53 achievements for the game, but after a couple of small shadow updates before the release of Umbral Sands, the number was reduced to 45." |
| 50 | "It was first reduced to 50 achievements then again from 50 to 45." |
| 45 | The end of that reduction, reached before the Umbral Sands release. |
| 48 | "Prior to full release, there were a total of 48 achievements with two unobtainable achievements." |
| 50 | "There are currently 50 achievements on the achievement log." |
So a page that says 45 and a page that says 50 can both be quoting a real historical figure. The count in force now is 50, which is what the table above lists.
When they were added
The wiki's update history is group-level rather than row-level, which is why only one row in the table above carries an "Added" value. Read as published:
| Update | Date | What the wiki records |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0 | 15 September 2026 | "Two new achievements have been added." |
| N/A — shadow update | 6 August 2026 | "Two new hidden achievements were added to the achievements log." |
| 0.12.1 — Eye on Ashenfall | 14 July 2026 | "Agility achievements were added to the game." |
| 0.12.0 — Eye on Ashenfall | 23 June 2026 | "Achievements have been added to the game." |
The wiki's own navigation boxes group 48 of the 50 rows into skill achievements, quest achievements and hidden achievements. Two rows — Doric's Fire Fried Chicken and Regicide — appear in the log's main table but in none of those groups. That is an observation about the source's own structure and nothing more; this page does not turn it into a version attribution.
What cannot be recovered, and what cannot be completed
The wiki records two separate problems, and neither is a bug report from a player — both are in its own trivia section.
- Achievements are not retroactive for every character. "It was revealed in the update notes for Umbral Sands that achievements do not apply retroactively to all characters made before the update." The wiki adds the practical consequence: achievements can be gained on both old and new profiles, but "only old characters will need to go back through to complete some achievements".
- A full 100% cannot always be kept. "Some achievements get added before major updates as shadow updates, thus making people unable to keep a full 100% completion of all game achievements." The 6 August 2026 entry above is a shadow update of exactly that kind — two hidden achievements added with no version number.
- Two achievements were unobtainable before full release. The wiki states that the pre-release total of 48 included "two unobtainable achievements". It does not name them, so neither does this page.
The practical shape of that: a player returning to a character created before 0.12.0 has achievements to go back for, and a player who was at 100% at any point before 6 August 2026 lost that state through no action of their own.
The PlayStation side — no first-party source, and no inference
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is sold on PlayStation 5, and PlayStation has its own trophy system. This round produced no first-party source for a PlayStation trophy list. The only PlayStation body fetched for this batch is the store listing, which does not enumerate trophies, and the one third-party attempt to reach a trophy list failed to fetch at the source stage.
So this page lists no PlayStation trophies, no trophy count and no platinum, and it does not translate the Steam list into a PlayStation one. The two systems are separate, their lists are separate, and the shape of one is not evidence about the other. If a first-party trophy list appears, it belongs on this page as its own table with its own source, and this paragraph is the place it will say so.
Where the numbers come from
- The count of 50, the full achievement table and every completion rate: the official wiki's Steam achievements page, read 2026-09-17.
- The same count stated independently: the Steam store page, which lists 50 achievements for the game.
- The update history and the trivia: the same wiki page's own sections.
- The PlayStation gap: this batch's own source boundary — one PlayStation body, and it is a store listing.
